Policy 11.2 - Postseason Roster
The maximum number of entries that may be submitted for the state series in the sport of cross country is 15. To be eligible for the state series, a student-athlete must be listed on the Postseason Entry and the Postseason Entries must be submitted by the deadline. Once the postseason deadline has passed, the postseason entries may not be adjusted, so please plan accordingly.
AP 4.5.2.4.2 Postseason Entries.
All participating teams shall submit their Postseason Entries via DirectAthletics by 4:00 PM EST on October 18, 2021. To be eligible for the state series, a student-athlete must be listed on the Postseason Entry and the Postseason Entries must be submitted by the deadline.

Policies 10.2.1 and 10.3.1 - Team and Individual Minimum Contest Requirement.
The FHSAA Board of Directors have waived FHSAA Policies 10.2.1 and 10.3.1 (team and individual minimum contest requirements) for all fall sports during the 2021-22 school year. With that in mind, student-athletes in the sport of cross country who do not meet the minimum 5 contest requirement, during the 2021 sport season, are allowed to participate during the 2021 cross country state series.
AP 4.5.2.3.4 Advancement of Teams and Individuals
District Meet to Regional Meet.The first eight (8) placing teams and the top three (3) placing individuals who are not members of an advancing team shall advance to the regional meet. A "team" is defined as having five (5) or more runners on the starting line and competing. A runner who qualifies as a member of a qualifying team may be replaced in the team lineup by a substitute. The substitute, however, shall not be eligible for individual honors on any subsequent level of competition.
