2013 Track & Field Athlete of the Year:Trayvon Bromell - Boys Sprints/Hurdles Todd Grasley Jul 23, 2013

There is no doubt Florida is one of the most talented states in the country when it comes to track and field. We wanted to honor the best of the best with our 2013 Track & Field Athlete of the Year awards. Trayvon Bromell of Gibbs High School is our winner in the Boys Sprints/Hurdles Event category. Bromell had a spectacular senior season picking up his first two state championships, and winning several national meets, earning himself even more postseason hardware and recognition.

2013 Track & Field Athlete of the Year: Andres Arroyo - Boys Distance Events Todd Grasley Jul 18, 2013

There is no doubt Florida is one of the most talented states in the country when it comes to track and field. We wanted to honor the best of the best with our 2013 Track & Field Athlete of the Year awards. Andres Arroyo of Colonial High School is our winner in the Boys Distance Event category. The senior pulled off the distance triple by winning the 800,1600, and 3200 meters at the 4A state meet. The Grenadier star was ranked in the top ten nationally in all three events and will go down as one of the greatest distance runners the state has seen.

There is no doubt Florida is one of the most talented states in the country when it comes to track and field. We wanted to honor the best of the best with our 2013 Track & Field Athlete of the Year awards. Bridget Blake of Dr. Phillips is our winner in the Girls Distance Event category. Blake won all but four races this season including her third consecutive state championships in both the 1600 and 3200 meter runs.

2013 Track & Field Athlete of the Year: Jeremiah Green - Boys Field Events Todd Grasley Jul 10, 2013

There is no doubt Florida is one of the most talented states in the country when it comes to track and field. We wanted to honor the best of the best with our 2013 Track & Field Athlete of the Year Awards. Jeremiah Green of Hillsborough High School is our winner in the Boys Field Event category. Green claimed indoor and outdoor national titles in the triple jump, clearing 50 feet in five track and field meets this season, and posting the longest leap in the nation for 2013.

We wanted to honor the best of the best with our 2013 Track & Field Athlete of the Year Awards. Lloydricia Cameron of Miami Northwestern is our winner in the Girls Field Event category. Cameron dominated the throws finishing first in both the shot put and discus in eleven of the thirteen meets she competed in.
