After winning a state title in the 100 as a sophomore in 2022, Liana Tyson of Cocoa last year was not able to become a champion again despite running consistently in the 11 second range. With the news of Montverde Academy sitting out their top sprinters Adaejah Hodge and Micayah Holland for the FHSAA state series, Tyson now re-emerges as a top contender to be a state champ again and has run PR's of 11.59 in the 100 and 24.20 in the 200 this season.
