Daniel Hoff of Bishop Snyder HS is the leading freshman in the state in the 400m with a 48.88 this season. He is also the #2 ranked freshman in the 200 with a 21.96 and #3 in the 100 with a 10.95. Last year, as an eighth grader, he ran for the St. John's Striders and was the FLYRA Middle School 400m champion with a time of 50.01. Additionally, he placed second at the New Balance Outdoor National Middle School 400m event with a time of 50.14. In the 200, he was 2nd at the FLYRA Middle School championship with a 22.79w and 3rd at the New Balance National Outdoors with a 22.60. The youngster is one of Florida's Future Stars, and with his speed and strength, one is looking forward to seeing him take his talent to the 800!
