Samuel Freas had the most significant improvement of this year's Top 10 finishers from the 2024 race to the 2025 race. The Buchholz senior ran 16:18.00 in 2024, finishing 17th, and finished tied for 6th in this year's Elite Race in 15:39.00. A 39-second improvement.

The most significant improvement from 2024 to 2025 came from Eastside HS sophomore Bryson McKnight. McKnight, as a ninth grader, ran in the 2024 Varsity Race, finishing 343rd in a time of 24:45.00. He ran in the Elite Race this year, finishing 296th with a time of 19:54.00, representing a dramatic 4:51.00 improvement.
