Senior Celina Coryell of Satellite was the most improved Top 10-ranked girl from August 2024 to August 2025. She is currently the sixth-ranked girl in the state with her third-place finish at Cecil Field in 18:27. In August of 2024, she ran 20:12.80 at the Wickham Jamboree in a fourth-place finish. A 1:45.80 improvement.

The most significant improvement in August from 2024 to 2025 came from Mount Dora HS sophomore Cecilia Lear. Lear was 25th in the 2024 FCA Cross Country Preseason Invitational @ Southern Hill Farms, running a 22:56.24. Last weekend, she was 2nd at the Deland Invitational in 19:39.80. That's a dramatic 3:61.44 improvement.
