1A Girls Rankings

By: Nathan Means, Mount Dora Bible School, nathan.means@chbs.org

Team Rankings:

Commentary: Need more input!  This past weekend had some interesting results…  The Mitchell Road Race, the Katie Caples 5.4k, the MOUNT Dora Bible Bulldog Invite.  Oh, and the Deland and Lipham Invites, who for some odd reason have perfectly normal courses with perfectly normal results.  Then Oak Hall grabbed a hall pass and took two weeks' prep for UF.  So we don't really know a whole lot yet.  By the next poll we'll have enough head-to-head competition (FSU, UF, and flrunners among others) to see a clearer view.

  Team Name, Region (Prev.)  Comments:
1. Oak Hall School, R1 (3) Second to Olympia at Trinity Prep with a 20:36 average on a slow course
2. Holy Trinity Academy, R3 (2) Sixth at Katie Caples Elite Race, with the Wolrath running extra
3. Providence School, R1 (1) Seventh at Katie Caples Elite Race with a 21:41 average
4. Community School of Naples, R3 (4) Second at Venice Invitational with a 22:16 average
5. Maclay School, R1 (6) Tenth at Katie Caples Elite Race with a 21:38 average
6. Benjamin School, R4 (10) Third at Spanish River Invite with a 21:53 average
7. Westminster Academy, R4 (5) Fourth at Spanish River Invite with a 21:55 average
8. Trinity Prep, R2 (8) Second to Olympia at MDB Bulldog Invitational with a 22:54 average
9. Circle Christian, R2 (NR) Top 1A school (10th overall) at DeLand Invitational with a 22:02 average
10. Northside Christian, R3 (NR) Third at Mitchel Invite with 20:10 average
11. Seffner Christian, R2 (NR) Won the Seffner Invite over Shorecrest and IRC with a 22:51 average
12. Shorecrest Prep, R3 (NR) Won the Lipham Invitational with a 22:16 average
13. Admiral Farragut, R3 (NR) Second at Lipham Invitational with a 23:01 average
14. Indian Rocks Christian, R2 (9) Third at Lipham Invitational with a 22:48 average
15. St. Pete Catholic, R3 (NR) Fourth at Lipham Invitational with a 23:11 average

Individual Rankings:

Commentary: So Jason came up with this experimental course rating thing and we haven't had much head-to-head yet…  in some cases, even on the same course on the same day!  I know from experience, Trinity Prep is almost as slow as MDB and Deland is just a hair slower than "average."  You might refer to this poll as "The Attack of the Eighth Graders" because we have five new eighth graders on the list joining one that was already there.  Juniors rock the list with nine entries.  There are still only ten athletes under 20 minutes so far this year.  At the top, though, are Wollrath and Seymour...  and I, for one, can't wait to see these two head-to-head, but it doesn't appear that will happen until the state meet!

2A Girls Rankings

By: Gerry Spring, Lake Highland Prep, gspring@lhps.org

Team Rankings:

Commentary:  Crazy two weeks! The results I have seen create more questions then answers as far as teams go. For those relying on the database it is incomplete and if have been following threads online a number of meets have been questioned as far as reliable times. 3A Girls Rankings

By: Andy Holmes, Seffner Christian Academy, aholmes@scacrusaders.com

Team Rankings:

Commentary: It still looks to be a 3-team race for the title. With the return of Rachel Givens of Chiles, the Wolves take the top spot in the rankings, closely followed by Estero and Lakewood Ranch. Severl teams continue to surprise and are now listed in this week's rankings

  Team Name, Region (Prev.)  Comments:
1. Chiles, 1 (3) Take the title at Bob Hans with 5 of the top 7 finishers. #4 and # 5 runners Lane and Gillard progressing nicely; race this week at FSU after off for Varsity last week
2. Estero, 3 (1) Have won both races so far this year at déjà vu Invite and Optimist Invite, where they placed 5 in the top 11
3. Lakewood Ranch, 3 (2) Close second to Estero at Optimist Invite; will look to tighten their pack of top 5 runners
4. Creekside, 1 (5) Win Elite Division of Katie Caples Invite, placing 5 in the top 30
5. Fort Walton Beach, 1 (8) Have not missed a beat after graduating key runners from last year. 3rd at Wildcat Invitational
6. Niceville, 1 (6) 5th at Wildcat Invitational, but have not been at full strength this season, and could be higher
7. Gulf Coast, 3 (7) Easily take title at 9/11 Invitational, and 3rd at highly competitive Spanish River Invitational
8. Wiregrass Ranch, 2 (13) Have made great improvements since even the summer; won Lecanto Invite, and took title at blazing Mitchell Invite
9. Fort Myers, 3 (4) Will need greater production out of Edwards to stay in the hunt; 3rd at their home Optimist Invite
10. Osceola, 3 (25) By far the biggest ranking jump, just about 10 spots behind Wiregrass at Mitchell Invite; aided by Indian Rocks Christian transfer Kistemaker
11. St. Cloud, 2 (12) 3rd in compettive field at Deland Invitational; will probably be ranked much higher when all is said and done
12. Steinbrenner (11) 2nd at tough course to open season at Seffner Christian Open, and 4th at Mitchell Invite
13. Naples (10) 4th at Spanish River Invite, but must get more production out of #3-#5 runners
14. Merritt Island (18) 8th in Elite Division at Katie Caples with solid 1-5 split
15. Nease (14) 11th at Katie Caples; off-day by Kristen Barbour, but still a top team

Individual Rankings:

Commentary: There were quite a few individual performances that impresses me these last 2 weeks, but none more so than Vanessa Valentine at the MDB Invitational. 19:08 on a grueling course is sensational. Olivia Ortiz ran a great race against very good cometition, on a tough course at the Optimist Invitational. You coaches really make it difficult on us pollsters with how some of your girls are running! In my opinion there is still a group of about 7-8 girls capable of winning the individual title, and it will be a fun season following all of it! Course variations were considered in the poll.

Athlete Name, Grade – Team (Prev.)  Time, Comments:
1. Lily Williams, 12 Chiles (2) 18:09- wins title at Bob Hans Invite by over 30 seconds to start season
2. Olivia Ortiz, 11 Lakewood Ranch (5) 18:37- takes 2nd to Smith at déjà vu Invitational by less than a second, then cruises to title at Optimist Invite
3. Kacy Smith, 11 Estero (1) 19:16- wins Elite Division of déjà vu Invite, and then takes 3rd at Optimist Invite- maybe a bit of an off day, but too talented to place any lower
4. Vanessa Valentine, 12 Melbourne (6) 19:08- wins MDB Invite by 45 seconds on a tough course, times will be dropping big time after this race
5. Carly Thomas, 12 Chiles (3) 18:43- 2nd to teammate Williams at Bob Hans, week off from racing this past weekend
6. Rachel Givens, 11 Chiles (NR) 18:43- 3rd and a hair's length behind Thomas at Bob Hans, did not have her ranked after no cc last year, but will be huge for Chiles to make a title run
7. Kaitlin Rodriguez, 12 Creekside (31) 19:47- times not as great as others but went 1/4 mile off course at Katie Caples, so right up there with the others
8. Anne-Marie Blaney, 12 Belleview (8) 19:10- time was an eye opener at Lecanto Invite which she won by over 30 seconds
9. Katy G. Solis, 11 Estero (7) 19:31- 5th at déjà vu Invite Elite and 4th at Optimist Invite; also good showings on tough courses
10. Marsel Mosley, 11 Niceville (13) 18:48- takes title at Washington Wildcat Invitational and Pace Patriot Invite
11. Ivy Chastain, 11 Fort Walton Beach (20) 18:49- just behind Mosley at Wildcat Invitational- should have more good team battles between Niceville and FWB as well
12. Alexis Irwin, 12 Osceola (10) *18:17- takes 3rd on 5k road race at Mitchell Invite, wins déjà vu Open Division, and 2nd at Green Devil Invite all in a busy first 2 weeks
13. Nikita Shah, 11 Wiregrass Ranch (18) *18:21- 4th at Mitchell Invite and 2nd at Lecanto Invite; progressing well despite recent illness
14. Caroline Barlow, 10 Gulf Coast (17) 19:31- wins title at competitive 3A/4A division of Spanish River Invite, and 3rd at 9/11 Memorial Invite
15. Devin McDermott, 12 Lakewood Ranch (14) 19:48- has been #2 for the Ranch so far this season, and took 5th at Optimist Invite
16. Bethany Jenkins, 10 Estero (12) 19:52- great performance with 3rd at déjà vu Elite, and then 6th at Optimist Invite
17. Rachel Petrik, 12 Fort Myers (11) 19:56- has stepped in as #2 for Fort Myers ahead of Emily Edwards this season
18. Araceli Leon, 10 South Fort Myers (23) 20:21- runner up at 9/11 Invite and 8th at Optimist Invite
19. Kristin Zarrella, 11 Lakewood Ranch (9) 20:29- top 25 finish at déjà vu Elite, and 9th at Optimist Invite
20 Ashlyn Stadtlander, 12 St. Cloud (NR) 19:59- 4th at Deland XC Invite, should be a real factor this season

4A Girls Rankings

By: Ryan Raposo, John A. Ferguson HS - rraposo@dadeschools.net

Team Rankings:

Commentary: It's been an exciting first two weekends. Lots of head-to-head racing with almost all of the ranked teams, some fast performances (Spanish River Invite), some surprise performances (Olympia HS), plus a slow 3-mile mudfest at Deja Vu (which has made the ranking more difficult to piece together, particularly with the individuals)! But this is only the beginning so don't take much heart in these rankings. Also, if a team did not race, or had race results that I could not find, I did not keep them in the top 24 rankings. The big showdowns this week will be at UF, FSU, and the Falcons Invite.

  Team Name, Region (Prev.)  Comments:
1. Plant, 2 (T-1) 2nd at Deja Vu Elite, the best team in all of 4A; making their 5k debut at FSU.
T-2. Olympia, 1 (T-11) 20:20 Team Avg, 1st at Trinity Prep; also 1st at Mount Dora (super slow course). These girls are rolling!
T-2. Hagerty, 1 (5) 20:22 Team Avg, 1st at DeLand. With the way their progressing, they are the dark horse to maybe take down Plant this season.
T-4. St. Thomas Aquinas, 3 (8) 19:58 Team Avg, 1st at Spanish River (~20-25 seconds faster course than DeLand / Trinity Prep). Totally outkicked Ferguson! Super strong squad!
T-4. Ferguson, 4 (6) 20:04 Team Avg, 2nd at Spanish River (loses to St. Thomas by only 4 points!); 3rd at Deja Vu Elite. Keep it up, Falcons! Work hard and have fun!
6. Lourdes Academy, 4 (T-1) 5th at Deja Vu Elite, ~20:25 @ Katie Caples (after adjusting for course issues). Their true 5k debut will be a fast one on Thursday!
7. Spruce Creek, 1 (4) 20:32 Team Avg, 2nd at DeLand; still looking very strong, a 10 second drop in team average could easily put them top 3!
8. Sarasota Riverview, 2 (7) 6th at Deja Vu, also 1st at Venice (easy win). I know they were looking for a 5th, well their new freshman is legit!
9. Dr. Phillips, 1 (3) 8th at Deja Vu Elite, without defending State Champion Bridget Blake. No 5k varsity team results as of yet.
10. Boone, 1 (T-11) 20:56 Team Avg, 4th at DeLand.
11. Oviedo, 1 (9) 21:10 Team Avg, 5th at DeLand.
12. St. Petersburg, 2 (T-11) 21:18 Team Avg, 1st at Green Devil Invite.
13. Freedom (Tampa), 2 (NR) 2nd at Deja Vu Open, 21:55 Avg.
14. Palm Harbor University, 2 (NR) 4th at Deja Vu Open, 22:15 Avg.
T-15. Newsome, 2 (T-16) 22:36 Team Avg, 1st at East Hillsborough; 14th at Deja Vu Elite, 23:12 Avg.
T-15. Wharton 2 (T-16) 6th at Deja Vu Open, 23:13 Avg.
16. Cypress Bay, 3 (NR) 22:14 Team Avg, 5th at Spanish River (while missing one of their top girls).
17. Spanish River, 3 (T-18) 22:26 Team Avg, 7th at Spanish River.
18. Dwyer, 3 (T-18) 22:29 Team Avg, 8th at Spanish River; 22:24 Avg, 4th at King's Academy.
19. South Dade, 4 (24) 23:18 Team Avg at a Dual meet (head-to-head win over C. Reef); 1st at Central Invite (easy win).
20. Jupiter, 3 (NR) 23:01 Team Avg, 11th at Spanish River.
21. Wellington, 3 (NR) 23:13 Team Avg, 12th at Spanish River.
22. Coral Reef, 4 (21) 23:04 Team Avg, 10th at Spanish River.
23. Varela, 4 (23) 23:44 Team Avg, 10th at Spanish River.
24. Sunset, 4 (NR) 24:05 Team Avg, 22nd at Spanish River.

  Upcoming Teams:
Lake Mary, 1 (NR) 21:12 Team Avg, 6th at DeLand; also 1st at Lake Brantley, 21:22 Avg.
Bloomingdale, 2 (NR) 23:15 Team Avg, 2nd at East Hillsborough; 15th at Deja Vu Elite, 23:30 Avg.

  Slipped from Rankings:
Mandarin, 1 (10) 22:30 Team Avg, 8th at Bob Hans.
Vero Beach, 2 (13) 23:27 Team Avg, 14th at Spanish River.
West Broward, 3 (14) No results?
Park Vista, 3 (15) No results?
Monarch, 3 (T-18) 23:51 Team Avg, 18th at Spanish River.
  Southridge, 4 (22) No results?

Individual Rankings

Commentary: For individual rankings it's been a little bit tricky dealing with the 3-mile Deja Vu mudfest and what appears to be fast performances from Spanish River because of great racing conditions compared to the other big meets like DeLand or Trinity Prep, which times are very comparable. Therefore head-to-head results will be my first factor in the rankings, and then overall 5k time (with a 20-25 second adjustment to Spanish River). Disclaimer: The second half of this list was even trickier than I thought because of the awkward time differential between Deja Vu mud vs. normal 5ks. So don't hold it against me! =)

Athlete Name, Grade – Team (Prev.)  Time, Comments:
1. Bridget Blake, 11 - Dr. Phillips (1) No results yet, but I think she's fine where she is.
2. Mary Kate Ponder, 12 - Mandarin (2) No results yet, but she should make her debut this weekend.

1A Boys Rankings

By: Carl Egbert, Barron Collier HS, carlegbert@yahoo.com

Team Rankings:

Commentary: First two weeks of the season are in the books and it is clear that Holy Trinity is the team to beat right now. Too much depth for anyone in 1A to deal with right now. HT dominated round 1 vs Trinity Prep at Katie Caples and we won't have to wait long for a rematch as the two square off along with Maclay at the FSU invite this weekend. Don't be surprised to see a bigger gap between the the two if Prep's 5th man does not close the gap on HT's. PKY should open up the weekend at UF so it will be our first look at Bolser & Westlake.

  Team Name, Region (Prev.)  Comments:
1. Holy Trinity - 3 (1) Convincing win @ Katie Caples over Trinity Prep 43-73 with 16:53 Avg
2. Trinity Prep - 2 (2) A distant second to HT @ Katie Caples with a 17:08 Avg

Individual Rankings:

Commentary: Daniel Moore layed down the gauntlet with a 15:50 victory at Katie Caples beating Gousse and Salas enroute. My darkhorse Mark Mutz opened up with a 16:47 victory at Taylor Park which might be one of the fastest layouts in the entire state. The PKY duo of Bolser and Westlake should open up at UF this weekend and we get another look at Moore and crew as they head to FSU in what is shaping up on paper to be a great indivdual and team battle. The following weekend brings the FL Runners Invite and Great American so we should get a good idea of who is healthy and who is rockin n rollin. Keeping with all the noise about short course or fast course I did my best to include those runners who ran on proven courses for this weeks rankings. Katie Caples ran a bit slower this year than in the past but all you need to look at is how dominating HT and TP were so that is why they 8 of the first 11 spots. Good luck to everyone in the coming weeks and see you back here in 2 weeks.

2A Boys Rankings

By: Mike Becker, Ransom Everglades, mbecker@ransomeverglades.org

Team Rankings:

Commentary: With so many departures to AAA, with so many young kids feeling their way, and with so much variation in course difficulty, and with few head to head match ups outside of the Treasure Coast, comparisons are difficult.  That being said, it appears as though Bishop Kenny's young team and Nature Coast ( with few seniors) have put up the best team performances thus far.  Ransom which is  senior loaded , Berkeley , and Jesuit (in the open race) ran valiantly in horrible mud at Deja Vu for 3 miles, but the times are difficult to evaluate as "mudders" are sometimes just "mudders".  Pensacola Catholic dominant up front ( through 4) is top Panhandle team. Astronaut as strong as anyone through 4th runner,   but 5th is a ways back for now.  Astronaut leads the Treasure Coast foursome inlcuding a closely bunched up Cocoa Beach, West Shore, and Rockledge  Lincoln Park still an unknown, though on paper is deep and young.  Looking forward to seeing many of these teams at FSU and FL Runners before the next poll comes out.  By then, the cream will become more apparent.  Guys I got Nease out... and fixed Caleb Baker.... let me know if I have any other tweaking.

  Team Name, Region (Prev.)  Comments:
1. Bishop Kenny (1A) At Caples, Bishop Kenny  packed in 5 runners between 17:12 and 17:39 earning the favorite status at this point. Team was solid third behind Holy Trinity and Trin Prep.
2. Nature Coast (NR) Despite Mitchell course length controversy, this AAA transfer has 5 boys under 18:00 at various courses early.  Could be number # 1 except for course argument. Looking forward to seeing them collide with Kenny soon.
3. Ransom Everglades (1B) Yet to show "what they got" on 5K invitatational course with 5 runners .  Although Irigoyen skipped Belen dual meet, 2nd through fourth runners were competitive with Belen's second pack running mid 17s.  Team minus Irigoyen to run FSU.
4. Berkeley Prep (5) Although results show them as the top AA school at Déjà Vu, Ransom's third was not recorded.  In either case, this team is for real... though 3 mile times in the mud do not show it.
5. Jesuit (4) Victorious at Déjà Vu  "varsity" race …. Times at this mudfest are meaningless… waiting for a legit 5K… undoubtedly these guys will be a factor
6. Astronaut (6) This team is rock solid through 4 runners ( 4 under 18:00).  With a fifth runner, they are right in the mix  to contend on the medal stand.
7. Pensacola Catholic (11) 6th in very strong field at Wildcat Invitational, especially strong up front
8. Cocoa Beach (NR) Much stronger than Astronuat through 5 ( but not 4) at Astronaut's own meet… strong finish at caples...Treasure Coast is a tight 4 team  race
9. Lincoln Park (10) Still yet to "show their cards"..  Will leave them here for one more week….On paper they appear stronger than 9th but have to show what they got.
10. Immokalee (3) Strong 2nd place at 9/11 Memorial Meet…. Very strong through 4… a minuite gap though from 4th to 5th runner/
11. Rockledge (13) Won their own invitational over West Shore
12. West Shore (NR) Traded places with Rockledge over first month of season in tight Treasure Coast competitions
13 Lake Highand Prep (15) Took 1st,3rd,and 4th places…..  and was victorious in varsity division of Caples  but 4th and 5th lagging … for now at least
14. Pine Crest (12) Victorious at A/AA race Spanish River …. 5 under 19 minutes in heat.  Don't underestimate how hot the AA race was that day.
15. Eastside (NR) Looking for first state birth. strong up front… with more depth and improvement will rise from here.  Strong jamboree race earlier.
16 Gulliver (NR) Strong up front at Spanish River but needs to develop depth
17   Lemon Bay (7) Appears to have run well at Venice… but no times to guage
18 Bolles (14) 8th at Caples rounding out the top 18 teams (for now anyway), could be higher .

Individual Rankings:

Commentary: I am sure that here will be some disagreement since this field is so wide open and it is so early.  If you think I missed something, shoot me an email. With Irigoyen not having run a time this fall, he will be unranked for the moment, though he clearly  may be the man to beat once he begins to "RACE".  In the meantime, questions about the length of the Mitchell course make it unclear how good Azari is.  Nonetheless his 15:33 for 3 miles puts him ahead of all others in the AA Division, and if his 15:33 is really for 5K, that time almost surpasses Irigoyen's p.r. of 15:29.   The rest of the top 10 is difficult to "order" as  very few of them have met face to face yet. I don't believe in ranking based on past laurels, but on present accomplishments as this is an honor roll and not a personal prediction.  So forgive me if you disagree.  I, Myself, don't think they will actually finish in this order.  There are certain programs that haven't even raced yet.  Finally, I agree with Raposo that South Florida courses are slower ( another argument for another time) due to the heat.  But do not fear.  Upcoming..... FSU, FL Runners, Ferguson,  Trinity Prep etc. We will start to get a clearer focus as to who the "next generation" of AA leaders are.

Athlete Name – Team    Time, Comments:
1. Argishti Azari - Anclote    15:33, 3 miles will convert to top time in AA irregardless of Mitchell controversy.  Azari is the man to beat thus far.
2. Don Kerrigan  Pensacola Catholic   16:30  is best legit 5K time thus far.
3. Chris Sorrick- Anclote   Again, Micthell course tough to gauge, but his 16:27 at West pasco 3 miler converts to a top 5 time here
4. Jim Thimogene  Amercan Heritage   Opened with 16:52 and 16:54 in the blazing heat of South Florida… a transfer from Miami Jackson.
5. Mark Sortino- West Florida Tech   9th out of 122 at Mobile  only a sophomore  16:46 at that meet
6. Taylor Hickey - Rockledge   Wins Rockledge Invitational  best this season  16:59
7. Jean Deceus - Immokalee   17:11 at Memorial in tough field
8. Brian Sharp - Robinson   17th at Déjà Vu elite race is impressive start… forget those times
9. Cecil Vignutti- Bishop Kenny   17:12 top ten finish at Caples
10. Michael Barr - Bishop kenny   17:12 step for step with Vignutti
11. Nicholas Palermo - North Broward Prep   9th at state last year and is a potential giant killer .. opened with relatively slow (17:32) at Spanish River
12. Nick Buliga - Gulf   16:48 3 mile opener at West Pasco
13. Nick Papa- Lake Highland Prep   Wins varsity section of Caples in 17:30 ….
14. Billy Scola - Ransom Everglades   16:54 at Déjà Vu in the mud
15. Daniel Engel - Pensacola Catholic   17:16 at Wildcat Invitational
16. Tim O'Laughlin  - Jesuit   17:08 runner up in varsity division at Déjà Vu in mud ( 3 miles)
17. Zachary Shaver- Astronaut   1723 at  Astronaut opener
18. Alex Main -Berkeley Prep   17:30 at Déjà Vu in mud ( 3 miles)
19 Erik Medina - Labelle   17:20 at Fort Myers
20 Eddie Bustamante - Ransom Everglades   Although not in the data base, 17:22 in the heat versus Belen on 9/15
21. Shawn Majumbdar - Berkeley Prep   17:31 in mud at Déjà Vu
22. James Dowdle - Berkeley Prep   17:33 in mud at Deja Vu
23. Emilio Quintana - Eastside   17:26  in Bobcat Jamoboree
24. David Yarbrough - Bishop Kenny   17:25 at Caples
25. Cory Sayyou- Astronaut   17:28 at Astronaut
NR (but lurking)    Bert Irigoyen- Ransom Everglades   15:29  defending state champion but finished over 80th place at Déjà Vu  18:18  for 3 miles, a sleeping giant

4A Boys Rankings

By: Jorge Fleitas, Christopher Columbus HS, jfleitas@columbushs.com

Team Rankings:

  Team Name, Region (Prev.)  Comments:
1. Colonial (1) Two solid runs at Ted Benz and again at déjà vu  have been impressive. Now they will get a true gauge with a trip to Gainesville Saturday. Look for Colonial to out lean Columbus at Mt. DEW.
2. Columbus (2) Was there any doubt the reigning champions would bounce back? A great run at Spanish River got the Hellions hungry. 5-7 need to step it up big to beat Colonial.
3. St. Thomas (4) I told you St. Thomas is a sleeper. This week they proved that with a solid performance at Spanish River.
4. HB Plant (3) Plant may have placed 5th at Déjà vu at night, but this team proved to me once again that it is able to contend with anyone in 4A watch for Plant to be a contender in November.
5. Winter Park (5) Showed an impressive performance at Titusville look for the Park to be in full swing come November.
6. Olympia (6) It's time for people to view the Titans as a legitimate threat in 4A, an easy win without Dey at Mt Dora puts them here.
7. John I Leonard (10) It's not rocket science: Anderson Charles gives John I Leonard the best chance for a top 5 finish.
8. Spruce Creek (9) There is plenty of potential in the Creek and a big win at the Deland Inivtational shows they can be a contender come November.
9. Vero Beach (7) The beach has a lot of potential but their 4 and 5 need to step up big if they want to compete for that title.
