Summary:
What happens when Flo throws a track meet?
Expect an experience! The 2019 Flo Golden South Classic is all about fast performances and fun times as music rocks the infield. Dance contests will get you moving, food trucks serve up good eats, and fun games and prizes are won throughout the day. NOTE: Stay close to the DJ throughout the day and compete in one or all of the spontaneous contests and prizes that will be held at the main stage.

Who can participate?
All middle and high school-aged athletes are welcome to compete in the 2019 Flo Golden South Classic! To compete in the Classic Division, you must meet the qualifying standards. All other athletes will be placed in the Open Prep Division.
Who gets awards, how does it work?
The top 4 finishers in each event/division will receive awards. Please pay attention to the schedule and announcements on the stage. Awards will be given out on a rolling schedule from the main stage throughout the day. No awards will be mailed.
Where do I park?
The First Academy is located on the campus of the First Baptist Church of Orlando at the northwest corner of the I-4/John Young Parkway Interchange. Take I-4 to exit number 79 (John Young Parkway). Take John Young north to the entrance of the First Baptist Church of Orlando campus on your left. Turn into the church entrance and follow the signs for The First Academy parking. Fee to park
What if it rains?
We all know FL Weather is unpredictable, so we do not suggest scheduling same-day travel to or from the event. Get in early, get comfortable and ready to compete!No refunds will be offered due to inclement weather conditions. If theres severe weather, events will initially be delayed with hopes to resume later in the day. Worst-case scenario, the Flo Golden South Committee will make the decision to cancel the event. Such decisions are made only in the interest of safety.
