Congratulations Senior Cross Country Athletes!
You've been officially selected to participate in the 2013 FACA Cross Country Senior All-Star Meet!
Now that you've been through the official selection process, here are the final instructions and requirements necessary before attending the meet. Please read all of the information below, download all of the forms, and get them filled out and turned in as soon as possible. All of this must be completed before you are able to officially participate as designated by the Florida Athletic Coaches Association. If you still have any questions after reading everything, please feel free to contact Coach Kristin McWilliams and/or Coach Ryan Raposo once again.
Senior All-Star Required Documents:
Please print both of these forms below and present to your high school coach:
1) Congratulatory & Informational Letter for High School Coach
2) Official Athlete Sponsorship Form - Must be filled out and turned in along with the $75 sponsorship check
Reminder: Besides just securing the sponsorship check, your high school coach must be a member of the Florida Athletic Coaches Association. If you are unaware of your coach's status with the FACA, please contact Coach McWilliams or Coach Raposo and we can verify for you. Please print and fill out the forms below in order to submit to the FACA:
5) Athlete Acceptance / Commitment to Participate Form - Please fax to the FACA Executive Director, Shelton Crews
6) Parent Voluntary Consent Form - Please fiil out and bring with you on Friday, November 22nd
All of the above forms (6) were provided by Shelton Crews, the Executive Director of the Florida Athletic Coaches Association.
Once all of the above requirements are fulfilled, then are you ready to race! Good luck and we'll see you in Tallahassee on Friday, November 22nd!
** Also, for the All-Star Banquet on Friday evening, the cost is covered for all All-Star Athletes and FACA All-Star Coaches. If any parent, high school coach, or other individual wishes to attend, Coach McWilliams will need to know how many will attend at a cost of only $5.00 per person. We need to have an accurate head count to know how much food to order for everyone. Thank you!! **

Also, if you are in the South Region and need transportation up to Tallahassee, contact Coach Raposo as he will be renting a van (or two) to help haul any athletes up and back that need a ride (just as long as you help split the cost). =)
