Nathan Jucha won the Jason Byrne Invitational at the 26th FLRUNNERS.COM INVITATIONAL in 16:55.94, but the real battle was for second. Logan Greene of Dunedin HS and Conor Kiley of Admiral Farragut fought hard down the last 200m, with Greene edging out Kiley, getting second in 17:02.46, with Kiley getting third in 17:02.72. Of the boys who raced in the 5K over the two days and who had run in 2024 and 2025, Greene was the most improved from 2024 to 2025. His 17:02.46 was 4:50.09 faster than his 2024 run of 21:52.55.
*The course was a measured two-loop course in 2024 because of flooding from hurricanes.
