Jimmy Clark and Ryan Pickering's epic battle in 2010 produced the top two times ever in meet history, 14:53.29 and 14:55.48, one year after Matt Mizereck and Armando DelValle went 14:56.21 and 14:56.84. That quartet are the only athletes to ever break 15 minutes while 29 have gone under 15:30 in the past 17 years. Leonard standout and University of Oregon runner Ryan Pickering (pictured above( was 9th at the 2010 Foot Locker National Championship, two spots behind fellow Floridian Jimmy Clark (Creekside, University of Florida). Their times of 15:24 and 15:25 rank 7th and 9th all-time by Sunshine State athletes. We rank every Kinney Cross Country Championships and Foot Locker National finalist from Florida.

Former Leon standout Matt Mizereck ran 14:51 at the 2009 Foot Locker South Regional to finish fourth a year after finishing one spot out in 11th in 2008. Jimmy Clark competed in the Foot Locker South Regional twice placing 17th as a junior and winning it all as a senior in 2010 with the fourth fastest time ever by a Floridian of 14:55.00. We caught up with the former Creekside standout and current University of Florida senior leading up to this year's race in North Carolina.
