The top runners in the state of Florida will be in Tallahassee this weekend for the 2016 FSU Relays. The two-day event will feature both high school and college competition. Distance runners love this meet and will highlight the action Friday night in the invitational 3,200m and Saturday night in the invitational 1,600m. Watch Seffner Christian Academy senior Noah Perkins run a phenomenal final 800 meters to win the 3,200m at FSU Relays in a 15 second PR, state leader, and US#10 time of 9:08.54.
Rafaella Gibbons of Winter Park led the FSU Relays girls 3200 wire to wire in a US #6 time of 10:35. Watch her win as well as the rest of the girls that joined her under 11 in a deep field.
Much like the boys, the girls distance events will definitely be a focal point of the FSU Relays. The girls 1,600m run will feature four girls under 5:00 lead by Calvary Christian's Hannah Brookover and FOURTEEN girls who have run under 5:05.
