There will be an attempt at breaking the Florida high school girls two-mile record on Saturday night by the Cambridge Christian duo of Mary Ellen Eudaly and Caroline Lehman. The current record is 10:17.20 dating back 1979 with Betty Jo Springs of Bayshore, while the 3200 state record run by Caroline Wells earlier this season converts to 10:13.93 performance.

Another outstanding elite field of athletes will be assembled to the final series of 3 for Golden South this month on Saturday night at Lake Region High School in Polk County, Florida.
