We are halfway through the 2025  Florida cross-country season. The most significant improvement from 2024 to 2025 at the halfway point of the season is by sophomore Jacquelyn Perrin of the St. Edwards School.  She was second in the 1A/2A race at the Spanish River XC Invitational with a 19:22.80. In the first half of the 2024 season, her best time was a 23:13.50 at the Indian River Fairgrounds XC Invitational #2. That's a fantastic turnaround of 3:50.70.

*NOTE:  I went out to 1000 and edited down. The athlete had to have run in 2024 and in 2025 through the first six weeks of the season, had to have been in the top 1000 at that time in 2024, and had to have shown an improvement in their performance from 2024 to 2025.
