The emotion was written all over Kayla Gardner’s face after she won the 100 meter hurdles for Westminster High on Friday in the FHSAA 1A state track and field finals with a blistering time of 14.55 seconds. In the last two years in the same race Gardner took second place; this time she could not hold back her tears of joy after taking an uplifting victory. (via The Miami Herald)
