There is definitely a traffic jam at the top for best boys team in the 4A classification with a handful or more standout programs in contention for the state title this spring including Christopher Columbus, Niceville, George Jenkins, St. Thomas Aquinas, Sanford Seminole, and others. If it comes down to the 4x400 meter relay, Columbus as the reigning state champions in the relay event have shown they can close out with the 10 points needed to put them over the top and also have a sub 8 minute 4x800 meter relay to kick things off too with 10 points.
