The national spotlight in the 2024 indoor season was on Florida's girls sprinters. It will be down south on the Florida girls again this season. Montverde junior Skyler Franklin leads the state's indoor returnees in the 60, the 300 and 400m and is second in the 200m.  She is the defending Nike Indoor Nationals champion in the 400m with a 53.44.
