The only sub-9:00 runner in the field is Evan Spreitzer of Holy Trinity. He is your clear favorite. Can Michael Girard of Viera challenge Spreitzer with a sub-9:00 performance?

With three boys under 14.00 and only .12 seconds of separation, Florida's No. 1, 2 abd 3 will go head to head. No.'s 5, 6, 7, and 8 are all scheduled to run as well. This could be the closest race of the day.

Florida is deep with talent in the 800m. 14 boys have run sub-1:54.00, including Jonathan Anthony (1:53.41) of Calvary Christian and Chancey Alexander of Dunbar (1:53.64).  Expect a tight group through the 400. It will be interesting to see who sets the pace. With a 55-56 first 400, it may take a 1:51 effort to win.

Boys' 400 Meters High School Finals (11:20 AM)

Bullis is going outdoors for the first time this year, bringing Quincy Wilson and Cameron Homer. In one of the marquee races of the meet. Wilson set a new scholastic 400m indoor record with a 45.37 at NBNI. Homer was 3rd in the same race with a 46.95. They will get a strong challenge from Florida's No. 1, 3, and 4-ranked runners, Kedric Wright Jr. of Palatka (46.76), Jordan Haymon of Flagler Palm Coast (46.88), and Jadrian Carmo of Bishop Verot (46.95). Expect an aggressive, fast race from the start from the Florida challengers. If Wilson is pushed and the weather cooperates, this could dip into the mid-45s to low-46s. One of the most anticipated races of the weekend.

Davis Garrett of Bucholz (4:16.65) leads the field and enters as the favorite, but this race is very compeititive six sub-4:20 runners. Mark Meister of Cambridge (Christian) School (4:18.42) and a tight group featuring Colin Aysun of Oviedo (4:19.44), Jackson Lafser of Creekside (4:19.52), Will Moss of Montverde Academy (4:19.66), and Aiden Aysun of Oviedo (4:19.71) are all within a few seconds. It will likely be a tactical race that comes down to who has it today in the last 200.
