We haven't seen the best in the girls 400 just yet. 

Two former Seminoles and Florida high school standouts Kendal Williams (UGA) and Kali-Davis White (Tennessee) brought home gold medals along with the 4x1 and 4x400m relays at the 2016 NACAC U23 Champions in San Salvador, El Salvador. The relays brought together some of the Sunshine State's best athletes who competed for state titles several years ago and are now working together in international competition.

Someone asked me today when does the track season and the summer end? My response "it ends?" With the Olympic Trials in the books many of those same Florida athletes who competed at Hayward Field at the beginning of the month will push on at this weekend's NACAC Championships in San Salvador, El Salvador.

The University of Florida track and field program officially has a combined 18 men's and women's NCAA Indoor Championships (March 11-12) entrants, which is the third-highest total for 2016.

It may only be late January, but it is never too early to post some of the NCAA's top times, and that's exactly what the University of Florida track and field team did down the closing stretch of the Rod McCravy Memorial on Saturday (Jan. 23) afternoon.

It’s been just two weeks since the Gators headed to the west coast for the 2015 NCAA Championships in Eugene, but the Orange and Blue have invaded Oregon and Historic Hayward Field yet again for USA Outdoors, this time ready to don the Red, White and Blue in hopes of representing Team USA at World Championships in August. The No. 2 Florida track and field team was looking to finish the 2015 indoor regular season with momentum heading into the postseason, and that's exactly what they did Saturday in both Ames and Fayetteville. Senior jumper Marquis Dendy put an exclamation point on the day with a world and NCAA-leading triple jump mark on his final attempt of the series with a 56 feet, 6.5-inch leap (17.23m), his best performance in two years. Four athletes with Florida ties headed to South America for the Pan-American Junior Championships. All four came away with gold medals. 

Gibbs star Trayvon Bromell will cap off his stellar high school career with a trip to Medellin, Columbia for the Pan-Am Junior Championships August 23 - August 25, 2013. It will be the first time the future Baylor Bear has been out of the country.
