He took the ten best girls times in each class this season and scored a traditional cross country meet. The results are pretty neat and might come as a surprise to some!

Last Saturday marked the first weekend of invitationals for the FHSAA cross country season. With many teams opening their seasons on very challenging courses, it is tough to know where exactly to rank teams coming in. This weekend we should have a better idea as many teams will be traveling to more forgiving courses with stiffer competition. A good number of teams in Florida will be taking a trip to Ocala for the Inaugural Florida Horse Park Invitational, hosted by Vanguard high school. The 2014 Cross Country season got an early start for a few teams as Bartram Trail, Flagler Palm Coast, Mandarin, and Vanguard toed the line in a quad meet the last weekend of August. Unlike most races, this meet had one race for the men and one race for the women with the men’s race going first.
