The 2015 Nike Cross Nationals didn't go quite as our Florida athletes had hoped. Two-time qualifier Rafaella Gibbons was 40th after finishing 27th last year and looking for All-American honors while the Avery Creek Running Club was aiming for a top ten finish and placed 22nd. Will Avery Park Running Club (Trinity Prep) have the best finish of any Florida team in meet history? Those questions and more answered!
Last year at this time Franco Martins was a senior at Windermere Prep. Martins was coming off his second consecutive 1A cross country state championship and a 4th place showing at NXNSE.
