Caden Montini of Oak Hall is the reigning 1A state champ in the 3200 meter run, but the 1600 meter be his best event to go for a state title in his junior season as he leads all juniors in the state with a 4:16 PR. He also clocked an impressive 9:29 solo 3200 PR last week at the Santa Fe Raider Invitational.
