FHSAA 4A Boys Fastest 1,000 XC Individual Returnees

Matt Ryan looks to retain his 4A state title in cross country and keep the streak of Nease High School individual state champions going onto 5 years in a row if he can 2-peat to follow Rheinhardt Harrison's 3-peat (2019, 2020, 2021). Hagerty's Jonathan Leon, a fourth place finisher in the 2022 state cross country race as well as the 3200 meter state runner-up to Ryan this past spring, appears to be his toughest challenger.
