We decided to
examine which senior boys had shown the most improvement from their freshman year compared to their current senior season performances. Diego Eseverri of Christopher Columbus has shown the most improvement, going from a 21:48.45 time his freshman year to a 15:07 this year. A dramatic improvement of 6:41.45. He is currently ranked No. 10 in the state and No. 7 among seniors.

COMPARING THEIR FRESHMAN (2022) XC 5K TIME TO THEIR SENIOR TIME THROUGH 10/18
The rankings were generated by comparing the Class of 2025 boys' XC 5K times from their freshman year (2022) with their current times through Oct 18th. We went out to the top-ranked 1000 boys in 2022 and those who have run in 2025. If they did not run in both years, they were removed from the ranking. If they did not have any improvement in their performance, they were removed from the ranking.
