The junior girls class made a major statement at the 2026 FHSAA Outdoor State Finals, capturing 21 of the 60 state championships contested across Florida's four classifications.
3A led the way with eight junior champions, while 1A followed closely behind with seven. 4A produced four junior winners and 2A added two more as 18 different athletes combined to claim 21 state titles during the four-day meet in Jacksonville.
Few athletes had a bigger impact than Rickards' Journee Belcher.
