Teams from Northwest Florida, Georgia and Alabama, put their thoroughbred runners on display at the 2012 Gulf Coast Cross Country Stampede. Alligator Lake XC Invitational Recap

Fast times as always were the norm at Alligator Lake, but the competition was extra competitive this year with the addition of some Georgia competition that led the way. Embry-Riddle Asics Classic Coverage

Due to the recent completion of an extensive athletic complex reconfiguration,  the Asics-ERAU Classic took flight with yet another course change (designed through the partnership of Rosolino and Hopfe, Inc.), proving, once again, that variety is the spice of cross country. Featuring more trips up "the hill", sharper turns, and enough wood chips to light Orlando for a week, the course was--if anything--tougher than ever, as times will show.

Key West XCursion Preview: A Course To Tough To Tame

Edwards and Bennett lower the BOOM at North Port Invite

With its flat mixed surface course the North Port Invite can splash out some really good times. Add good weather conditions and you get great times, but this edition saw some times that will cause ripples throughout the state all the way to Tallahassee.

North Port Invite Preview

The 2011 North Port Invitational was besieged by a Virginia storm named Lake Braddock that sucked up all the big hardware and left in it’s wake a bunch of shell-shocked Florida teams. The forecast for this year doesn’t include any such foreign weather system but not to worry there should be plenty of running thunder & lightning quickness on the course nonetheless.

I predicted a team to win, and their top four didn't run. Needless to say, it was a great turnout for the Overbay-Monte Carlo Invitational at Central Winds Park in Winter Springs. Check out tons of meet coverage from the event sponsored by Track Shack.
