Lely Invite: Arroyo Over Miranda In Surprise Matchup, Candiano Pulls Away For Repeat

Not known for fast times the Lely HS home course is a twisting, turning, multiple surface affair, which slowly wears down harriers as it loops around the campus. This year, as in other years, most of the teams are going into championship season and rest some if not all varsity at this race but this year it got some special guests.

Mt. Dora Bible Invitational Recap

I did almost all of my long summer runs here and the Mount Dora Bible course has to be one of the hardest in the state. It's hills are grueling and seem to be placed in the worst places. Knowing you have to do two loops of it for it to be a full 5K, is almost as mentally exhausting as it is physically. Thankfully, Saturday at the 39th Mount Dora Bible Invitational the weather was absolutely beautiful with the temperature at a comfortable 75 degrees for both the girls and boy's varsity as well as JV races.

Lopez Leads Belen Boys On Birthday, Ferguson Girls Take Team & Individual Titles

Schools from across Dade County headed to Larry and Penny Thompson Park for the Dade County Youth Fair Championships. Host Ferguson came away with the individual champion Katrina Santiago. as well as, team title on the girls side.Belen was near perfect on the boys side lead by individual champion Avery Lopez.

Fator, Snyder Reign Supreme At Hillsborough County Championship

Over two dozen Hillsborough County Schools made the trip to Lake Park in Tampa for the Hillsborough County Championships. Jeff Adams was on-site snapping away with his camera as he usually does. It was a cool crisp morning as most of North Florida met in Marianna for the Panhandle Championships. The top eight finishers in the boys and girls race were named to the All-Panhandle team. Gardner, Brookover Shine At Seffner Christian Last Chance Invitational

It was a beautiful Thursday afternoon at the Sydney Dover Trails in Brandon for the Seffner Christian Invitational. Nearly a dozen teams made the trip to the course which they ran backwards for this race. They started off in a nice open field before testing their toughess on the sugary sand trails and mini hills the course threw at them. Jeff Adams was on-site with over one thousand photos!

Ralph's Musings: West Orange Invitational

Although generally attributed to Horace Greeley, that irrepressible, mid-19th Century editor of the New York Tribune, the phrase “Go West, Ralph,” apparently has not, definitively, been proven as his.
