District 2A-7: Peralta, Lyden Champs For Host Lake Nona
Adair Lyden and Jean Carlos Peralta continued their fantastic freshman seasons by adding district champion to their resuemes. Lyden bested the field by over 90 seconds while Peralta went 1-2 with teammate George Velez. Lake Highland girls and Lake Nona boys were team champions. On Halloween, Gulf Coast Sharks Take A Bite Out Of Scary Good Green Wave
The 3A District 12 course is the same modified triple looper around the soccer and baseball fields of North Collier Regional Park that was the site of the inaugural Barron Collier Invite earlier this season. With its deep Bermuda grass, slightly long measure, and redundant trek it has proven to be a tough-to-PR course. That said, the weather conditions on this day were excellent to buck that notion and see some fast times.

District 3A-2: Zimmerman Edges Khosla By A Hair, Givens Golden, Chiles Takes Home Hardware
Nine high schools, 18 teams, and 131 athletes took to Appalachee Regional Park for the 3A District 2 Championship. Runners graced the Tallahassee course as their journey to the state meet got one step closer. In the girls race it was all Rachel Givens of Chiles while the boys race came down to a photo finish between Cade Zimmerman of Chiles and Sukhi Khosla of Leon. Chiles swept the team titles as well.

District 3A-3: Bias, Heisner Help Creekside Conquer Competition
Teams from in and around Jacksonville and North Florida unleashed their district fury on the course at Bartram Trail High School site of the 3A-3 meet. Creekside senior Sarah Heisner took individual honors while Bartram Trail captured the team title. In the boys race it was Creekside's Zach Bias who beat out Noah Kemp of St. Augustine int he final meters. The Creekside boys won the team championship as well.

District 4A-3: Blake Back To Form, Boone Boys Pack 1-2 Punch
Ocoee High School played host to the 4A-3 district championships. Dr. Phillps packed a potent 1-2 punch with seniors Bridget Blake and Amber Johnson. Olympia countered with Kae itlyn Campo and Emily Headley finishing third and fourth to lead the Titans to the team title. In the boys race it was the Boone duo of Burkhardt Helfrich and Jared Hines finishing first and second and leading the Braves to a district title.

Arroyo Cruises, Schmick Surges For District Championship
Colonial senior Andres Arroyo and Cypress Creek sophomore Kaley Schmick took home District 4A-4 titles. Arroyo cruised to an easy win while Schmick surged in the final meters of the race to edge out Emily Perkinson of Colonial. The Grenadiers swept both the boys and girls team trophies.
