Alyson Johnson, who at the end of the 2025 track season announced her transfer to IMG, leads the senior girls in the rankings as the 2025 Cross Country season begins with a 17:23.00 that she ran in a third-place finish at the New World Fall Spectacular. Johnson was the FHSAA 4A state champion in 2023 with an 18.22.00. Last year, she finished eighth with a time of 18:22.70. IMG does not compete in the FHSAA series.
Interestingly, the number two-ranked senior is Eliana Black of Cambridge (Christian) School. Black was second last year in the FHSAA 1A race with an 18:17.20. She returned to Cambridge following a tumultuous end of the 2022 season and spending the 2024 season at IMG. Black was the FHSAA 1A state champion in 2022 with a 17:49.50.
