Hagerty's Brayden Seymour will be looked upon as a preseason favorite to win the 4A state cross country title as the top returnee from last year's state meet race (3rd, 15:38) and owns a 5K personal best of 15:32 from last fall. The state champion at 1600 meters this past spring, Seymour will have some worthy challengers in 4A including 9 other sub 16 minute performers back.
