The 2-time defending 4A state champions Buchholz girls appear to be on a clear path to a third straight state title, especially after a district meet showing on Saturday which they decisively claimed the 4A District 1 title with only 39 seconds separating their top 5 runners from 18:52 to 19:32 range with Eleanor Whisler, Ashley Hamilton, Kaitlyn Goslinga, Maggie Whisler, and Annika Caedington. An All-State finisher one year ago in Lucy Voss was the team's sixth runner on the day to showcase the depth and strength in this year's team compared to the past two years when they were very reliant on their top 4 or 5 runners all staying healthy and racing well.
Girls team results merge from all 8 FHSAA 4A District meets this past week in Florida.
