The senior class made its presence felt at the 2026 FHSAA Outdoor State Finals, capturing 26 of the 60 boys state titles contested in Jacksonville.
Florida's graduating class accounted for nearly half of the meet's champions, winning 14 running event titles and 12 field event crowns across the four classifications. 4A led the way with nine senior champions, followed by seven in 2A, six in 3A, and four in 1A.
One of the week's biggest moments came in the 3A javelin competition, where New Smyrna Beach senior Brison Sullivan etched his name into the FHSAA record books. Sullivan launched a throw of 65.21 meters (213-11), setting a new state meet record and delivering one of the top performances of the championship week.
