With state champion Cha'iel Johnson moving back up to the 4A classification with her St. Thomas Aquinas, the door is open for Samantha Kavanagh of Northeast and Raquel Edwards of Dillard to battle it out for their first state titles this spring in the 3A girls 800 meter run with their returning sub 2:10 personal bests.
