Sunlake's Alex Pena dipped under 4:10 for the first time for the 1600 meter run with a 4:09.28 personal best victory at the 4A Region 2 meet, which also takes over as state leading time in the event. Pena also doubled back to win the 3200 as well in 9:19.  

Boys results merge of all four FHSAA 4A Regionals held on May 5th.
