The Niceville track & field team with their amazingly deep group of throwers made the trip all the way down to South Florida to compete at the Elite 16 Invitational. They dominated as expected including taking 4 of the top 5 places in the boys' discus led by state leader Massimo Grisotto at 51.64 meters (169'5). Grisotto earlier in the week at a home meet threw for a 53.14 meters (174'4") personal best in the discus. Niceville also swept the top 4 places in the javelin and the top 2 spots in the shot put at the Elite 16 Invite.
