Top Girls Individual Times From FHSAA 3A Regionals

Ashley Fitzgerald of American Heritage appeared to be the easy front runner for the 3A state title all season, but after Christiana Coleman of Dillard nipped her at the line in the 3A Region 4 race on Saturday morning at South Fork High School, the race appears to be more wide open with Coleman's upset victory. It was a photo finish though with both runners timed at 18:22.70 and requiring an officials call on the dead heat between the two.
