Just like in the 2A girls race, the rivalry between Bolles and Bishop Kenny will be played out again at state. Both teams have 8 team titles. Bolles however, is going for their 4th in a row. They won in the 2A Region 1 race scoring 41 points to Bishop Kenny's 61. On the boy's side however, it is Bolles that has the edge. There is one team however that may get in the way of their 4th team title and that is Bishop Verot. While the Regional team results merge is one thing, the Verot boys lead in the 2A state team rankings and in the Virtual Meet Projections.
NOTE: Coaches, if you find a team that is in the wrong Region, Division or District please let me know with an email. The issue with previous merges was that the teams were put in the correct Divisions, Districts and Regionals after the state released the changes.
