The RunningLane course at John Hunt Cross Country Park in Huntsville, AL, hosts the 2025 New Balance RunningLane XC Championships on Saturday, Dec. 6th. The Girls' Gold Race is scheduled for 10:15 A.M (Central Time), and the Boys Gold Race at 11:00 A.M. The initial race was in 2020. The championship has rapidly grown into one of the top three post-season National races, offering athletes a chance to challenge themselves in a national competition as individuals or with their teams, with no qualification required, on one of the fastest courses in the nation.

Florida has been well represented over the years. No Florida boy or girl has won the race. The fastest time by a Florida boy is 14:41.45 by Viera HS's Michael Toppi, who finished 31st in the 2021 championship.
