Pottorff was the 2A Cross Country Finals runner-up in 2015, runner-up in the 1,600m at state, and won his first gold medal in the 3,200 with a time of 9:16.39. This fall we are honored to have Lincoln Park Academy senior Caleb Pottorff blogging for us. Pottorff, was the 2A runner-up in cross country in 2015, and finished his junior track season as the 3,200m state champion and 1,600m state runner-up. He will be one of the most sought after distance recruits out of the Sunshine State this year and we are honored to be able to share in his journey.
Lincoln Park junior Caleb Pottorff (seen here at the FSU Relays) won the district 3,200m title for the third straight year. His time of 9:38.57 was the best of any at this week's district meets while his 4:22.89 ranks sixth. After running 2:23 several times and a 20th place finish in 2012, Hensley was 24th out of thousands of runners who participated. He clocked a very impresive time of 2:19.51, but he says all that didn't matter.
