Belen Jesuit Freshman Marcelo Mantecon is in elite company on the track.  At the Bolles Bulldog Classic last weekend in Jacksonville he was 3rd in the 3200m behind Buchholz Sr. Riley Smith and Sr. Patrick Coon of Leon, running a 9:03.76.  His time is a Fl #1 Freshman All-Time and a US #7 Freshman All-Time.  He came back later and won the 1600m in 4:12.74.  In completing an incredible double for any class, his 1600 was Fl #2 Freshman All-Time and US #9 Freshman All-Time.
